Power Industry Veteran Frank Donnelly Joins DECH

Houston, TX, September 16, 2024 — Distributed Energy Clearinghouse®, a provider of distributed energy analytics software and services is pleased to announce the election of Frank Donnelly to its Board of Directors.

Frank is a 40-year veteran of the energy industry in the Americas, leading the addition of more than 8 GW of power generation from Canada to Argentina. For 15 years, he was the head of the Americas Power Plant division for Wärtsilä, the Finnish leader in power generation, and the President of Wärtsilä’s North American operations in Houston.

Prior to leading the Americas Power Plan Division, Frank served in numerous other capacities with Wärtsilä, including operations, services and power development. Frank helped establish Wärtsilä in its market leading position in the Caribbean & Central America and with U.S. municipal utilities.

Active in community and charitable endeavors, Frank was appointed Honorary Consul of Finland in Houston in 2017. For more than 20 years, Frank has served on the Board of the Houston Area Parkinson’s Society, including past Chairman.

Frank is a Houston, Texas native and a graduate of Rice University.
