Ron co-founded GIS WebTech in 2016 and has helped drive the company’s rapid evolution to become the fastest-growing provider of technology for economic development and site selection. Under Ron’s leadership, the company has become one of the largest providers in its space and is now widely recognized as the technology leader.

Ron has over 20 years of CEO experience in energy and related technology businesses. He has also worked as an operating partner with two energy-focused private equity firms and has served on eight company boards. Prior to jumping into technology and growth businesses, Ron was a senior executive at Southern Company, a Fortune 150 utility holding company, where he served as CEO of three non-regulated subsidiaries focused on energy efficiency, energy engineering projects, and deregulated natural gas marketing.
Earlier in his career Ron worked as a management consultant to the energy sector at Booz Allen Hamilton, where worked on projects as diverse as retail product pricing in the United States, restructuring and cost reduction in Europe, and service station operations in Asia.
Ron holds a BA from Colgate, MS from UCLA, and MBA from the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth.
