NYISO Power Trends

NYISO released its Power Trends flagship publication on June 1st wherein it summarized and discussed the key issues shaping the grid of the future in New York. Of note is for the year 2030 objective of 3,000 MW of system-wide battery storage, nearly one-half is expected to be behind the meter.

NYISO also announced that it expects to deploy its DER Participation Model software to support market participation of new distributed resources by the 3rd quarter of this year.
