Contingency Reserve (ECRS) prices

Contingency Reserve (ECRS) prices have relaxed a bit from the levels seen in June. Thus far in July we are seeing less than a $50/MWh “premium” to RRS prices during the peak demand hours. That’s a substantial reduction from June when ECRS was first introduced in ERCOT.
