As long-time energy market experts, deal originators and distributed energy specialists, we have spent countless hours building and running complex models to forecast prices and analyze investments. We concluded there must be a better way to organize data, analyze potential transactions, evaluate results and scale the delivery of reports for clients and subscribers. That led us through a journey that resulted in the founding of Distributed Energy Clearinghouse or DECH.

Our initial analytics platform allows you to upload your essential data, which we keep separate from other client and subscriber data. We use the data, our proprietary database of value drivers, and quality third-party applications to perform our rapid analytics, a product called DE DealView^TM.

Data security

The user interface allows clients and subscribers to securely upload data for a prospective deal, and later to download customized analysis dashboards and financial forecasts. A later version, expected mid-2024, will provide fully-automated Software-as-a-Service that permits the client to load data and see results within minutes.

The user navigation panel is a secure and efficient means to share your critical energy and site data with Distributed Energy Clearinghouse.

The process begins with the creation of a “deal name” which is based on client and site information. This is the unique identifier associated with the user’s company and project site. A secure means of uploading multiple files and file types, including utility bills, load data and aerial site photos.

Interactive feedback confirms file uploads and that the files conform to platform requirements to allow us to efficiently integrate with our analytics.

The user and facility data remains confidential at all times.

Rapidly analyze multiple options

In addition to analytics dashboards for a prospective distributed energy investment, our DE DealView^TM product allows a user to compare distributed energy system developers and service providers along key metrics and push out requests for proposal to select developers and service providers.

Responses to requests for proposal are similarly stored in our database for customized comparison and analysis to support our clients’ decisions.
