Richard is co-founder of Distributed Energy Clearinghouse® responsible for strategy, business development and overall management of the company. Before founding Distributed Energy Clearinghouse® Richard was Vice President for Wood Mackenzie’s Americas Consulting Group advising clients on strategy and investments across the energy value chain, including the power and natural gas industries.
Richard also serves as a consulting Fellow with Capco, a global technology consulting firm. Richard possesses more than twenty years in the power and natural gas industries, in both wholesale and retail markets, and more than ten years in distributed energy resource and grid edge advisory. Richard has hands-on experience with distributed energy resource investment from the perspective of enterprise investors (private equity), host utilities and marketers, developers and behind-the-meter owners.
Previously Richard held senior management positions with Acclaim Energy, Centrica, Sempra and Enron.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Ryk is co-founder of Distributed Energy Clearinghouse® responsible for the development of the company’s technology products, market research and analytics platforms. Before founding Distributed Energy Clearinghouse® was Senior Vice President at Acclaim Energy where he developed and managed the firm’s distributed energy and demand response practice.
Ryk possesses more than thirty-five years in the natural gas industry and more than fifteen years in the power industry, both wholesale and retail. Ryk has hands-on experience with distributed generation and microgrid applications with multiple vendors, developers and service providers.
Ryk has unique experience with distributed energy resource investment from the perspective of host utilities and marketers, developers and behind-the-meter owners.
Ryk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
Bradford works in collaboration with the executive team to combine energy markets and technology expertise with information technology tools to develop the company’s robust analytics solutions platform and products. As an accomplished Data Scientist Bradford has written extensively on artificial intelligence and machine learning topics.
Bradford possesses more than ten years in the technology industry starting with Accenture as a consulting analyst. Previous professional experience includes data science and management roles at Berkadia, Xtage Labs, American Express and Charles Schwab.
During his career in technology, Bradford has managed large data science and development teams for proprietary web applications. Project work includes sophisticated valuation, recommendation systems, chatbots, forecasting, statistical analysis, lead generation and optimization exercises.
Bradford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Operations and Information Management from the Wharton School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dan possesses more than thirty-five years of experience in the energy industry leading multi-disciplined and multinational teams, most recently as CEO of Mantis Innovation Energy. Dan’s experience spans retail and wholesale energy sales, marketing, engineering, government relations, and business process management.
Dan’s work history includes more than fourteen years with TXU in various positions from a System Planning Engineer to the General Manager of a natural gas distribution system in Mexico. After leaving TXU served as an executive with Direct Energy and worked 7+ years at Hudson Energy as the Senior Vice President of North American Sales and General Manager of Hudson’s business in the United Kingdom.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree from Amberton University in Garland, Texas.
Since 2009, Ariel has experience in marketing, focusing on strategy and digital approaches to branding, reaching and converting customers.
Ariel’s responsibilities include web strategy and development, lead generation, content marketing, SEO and SEM, video production and public relations. His prior experience includes strategic marketing positions at SGS Maine Pointe, a global supply chain consulting firm, and leading the digital and marketing strategies at Paytronix, W.B. Mason, and HISCO.
Ariel studied computer science at Wentworth Institute of Technology for 2 years before becoming a 2008 graduate of Newbury College with a degree in Psychology.
David has more than 30 years in the energy industry with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions for competitive electricity and natural gas consumers across the North American and European restructured markets. Most recently, David co-founded Prism Energy Solutions, an energy consultancy for commercial natural gas and electricity consumers.
Prior to forming his own company, David was Senior Vice President for Reliant Energy, where since 2001 he led the commercial and industrial sales and marketing division before joining SaveOnEnergy in 2009. While in his position at Reliant, he drove the profitable expansion of the company’s retail business, establishing Reliant as the second largest competitive retailer for businesses in the United States.
Prior to joining Reliant in 1998, David rose through positions of increasing responsibility at Conoco Philips’ domestic and international units, starting as an analyst and, ultimately served as a Director of Natural Gas Trading and Marketing. David is also very involved in working to establish consumer friendly rules and business practices for Aggregators, Consultants and Brokers. He is currently Chairman of the Standards and Compliance Committee for The Texas Energy Professionals Association, and Chairman of the Board for a non-profit focused on issues negatively affecting Children.
David holds a BBA from University of North Texas.
Frank is a 40-year veteran of the energy industry in the Americas, leading the addition of more than 8 GW of power generation from Canada to Argentina. For 15 years, he was the head of the Americas Power Plant division for Wärtsilä, the Finnish leader in power generation, and the President of Wärtsilä’s North American operations in Houston.
Prior to that Frank served in numerous other capacities with Wärtsilä, including operations, services and power development. He helped establish Wärtsilä in its market leading position in the Caribbean & Central America and with U.S. municipal utilities
Since retiring from Wärtsilä in 2015, Frank opened the international consultancy, Ally Corporation LLC, providing consulting services to developers on energy projects worldwide. In 2017, Frank was appointed Honorary Consul of Finland in Houston.
For more than 20 years, Frank has served on the Board of the Houston Area Parkinson’s Society, including past Chairman.
Frank holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math Science from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Ron has over 20 years of CEO experience in energy and related technology businesses. He has also worked as an operating partner with two energy-focused private equity firms and has served on eight company boards. Prior to jumping into technology and growth businesses, Ron was a senior executive at Southern Company, a Fortune 150 utility holding company, where he served as CEO of three non-regulated subsidiaries focused on energy efficiency, energy engineering projects, and deregulated natural gas marketing.
Earlier in his career Ron worked as a management consultant to the energy sector at Booz Allen Hamilton, where worked on projects as diverse as retail product pricing in the United States, restructuring and cost reduction in Europe, and service station operations in Asia.
Ron holds a BA from Colgate, MS from UCLA, and MBA from the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth.
Ed is a decarbonization and energy investor with more than fifteen years of experience leading strategy, M&A and strategic partnerships at private equity funds for Fortune 500 companies and investment banks. Ed possesses deep domain expertise in renewable generation, energy efficiency, transportation electrification and industrial Internet of Things.
Ed’s experience includes the launching, commercialization and, and sale of GE Current. Business milestones include scaling the IoT division from less than $ 5 million to $50 million in sales in three years, acting as General Manager and ultimately divesting GE’s Electric Vehicle charging business to ChargePoint, and co‐leading GE Current’s sale from GE to American Industrial Partners in 2019.
Ed has financed more than 1.5 Gigawatts of solar power projects in six years with over $3 billion in debt, equity, and tax equity capital and has closed more than $6 billion in leveraged financings for US energy companies from 2008 – 2011.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Administrative Science from Colby College, Magna Cum Laude.
