ADER Task Force 2nd Quarterly Report

On December 9th the ADER Task Force 2nd Quarterly Report was filed. The Task Force stated its opinion that under current law Retail Electric Providers can aggregate distributed energy resources without also making participating REPs power generation companies. The Task Force also recommended an amendment to the definition of “retail electric provider” in Section 31.002 of the Texas Utilities Code for clarity.

The next meeting of the Task Force will take place on March 8th. We’ll have more to report after the meeting.
